First UCSD Student Dorms located at Camp Matthews
"Facilities in use at the San Diego campus in 1965 included a 23-man dormitory and 106 residential apartments designed primarily to accommodate married graduate students.
The dormitory was a temporary one located at Camp Matthews; it was operated under the supervision of one resident advisor and incorporated the community kitchen concept."
