📚Reading Responses
Section titled “📚Reading Responses”For each chapter Context in the schedule, please read the text and then post a Moodle response by 8pm the day before it appears. Links and references should be properly cited using a style of your choice. Your response should include:
- A summary of the content
- 1 quote from the content
- 1 related comment on the content
- 1 related discussion question (a prompt you would like to explore in class)
- Share a related work of art, design, or technology that relates to the text(s) and reflect it is so.
❓Quizzes
Section titled “❓Quizzes”Quizzes let you assess your knowledge of class content. Quiz links can be found in Moodle.
- Take the quiz (at home) after you complete the accompanying HW in the schedule (-1 if late).
- Take them for one minute * total questions (e.g. 12 questions = 12 minutes)
- Take them without using a reference on the first try.
- Take them as many times as necessary to get them all correct. Your first score will be your grade. However, if you record a perfect score on every quiz by the end of the semester I will upgrade your lowest (single) quiz grade to a perfect score.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”Projects are aligned with the Critical Web Design (MIT Press) chapter prompts. Follow the book or fork my project repositories and instructions below to build your project. In order for me to access your work, each assignment/milestone must be:
- Published - The site should be live using Github Pages.
- Posted - Copy / paste the github.com, github.io, and (when applicable) shareable Figma links to the appropriate assignment in Moodle.
- On time - Published/posted by 8:00 am on the due date unless otherwise noted.

Git Milestones
Section titled “Git Milestones”A list of student competencies for Git and Github.
Git and Github are essential in this class. Post a link to your finished (parts 1 and 2) Git Milestones repo in Moodle. If you have completed these previously then you can link to your finished repo.
